Preserve and restore what matters most. At LM Frame & Gallery, our restoration team brings decades of experience and a conservation-first philosophy to every project. Whether your artwork is showing signs of aging, your frame is damaged, or you are restoring a treasured heirloom, we work with care and precision to help bring each piece back to life.
Our restoration process begins with an in-depth analysis, ensuring that each treatment respects the original intent of the artist and the material integrity of the piece. From surface cleaning and repair to structural reinforcement, every stage is handled using conservation-grade materials and methods, tailored to your piece.
Initial Assessment:
We examine the piece and estimate required work and turnaround time.
Studio Testing:
A formal condition report and treatment proposal is created, outlining methods, pricing, and expected results.
Approval & Authorization:
A 50% deposit and written authorization are required before restoration begins.
Camille's conservation-first approach respects the original intent of the artist while carefully addressing signs of aging or damage. We work with:
Oil paintings & acrylics
Painted surfaces & decorative finishes
Canvas, boards, stretchers, and supports
Works on paper (outsourced)
Discolored varnish, surface grime, flaking paint, and more
Camille, our lead conservator ensures every piece is handled with care, using conservation-grade materials, adhesives, and solvents.
Frames are more than structure, they’re part of the art. Our frame specialist, Tim, has over 40 years of experience repairing and restoring:
Gilded & antique wood frames
Cracks, chips, and surface damage
Loose corners, joints, or backing
Faded or worn finishes
Broken glass replacement
Tim will match stains, finishes, and more to preserve the frame’s historical value and visual harmony with the artwork.
