Liz is a native Atlantan who has practiced art most of her adult life. She studied Art at the University of Georgia, Georgia State, and North Georgia colleges. She began her art career as a mural artist painting in America and Bavaria. Those skills blended into murals and custom finishes in Atlanta homes to become a self-sustaining profession for 30 years.
As large works grew more physically difficult, Liz became a student of Deborah Nadelhofer in 2012, in order to renew her abilities. She works with oils, acrylics, and watercolor. She has been painting with the Chastain Artists Collective since 2012, traveled to numerous workshops, and mentored under James Richards for the last 5 years. Currently, she paints en “Plein air” and in-studio and prefers works of wildlife and scenes featuring everyday life moments.
