Wendy Jackson

From the time she was three years old, Wendy Jackson loved to draw. She spent hours drawing “ladies” before she was even in school. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Wendy majored in painting and drawing at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and Omaha, studying under Roger Carlisle, Margaret Furlong, and Peter Hill.
Wendy’s preferred media are oil, watercolor, and colored pencil. Her favorite subjects are people, including numerous commissioned portraits; landscapes, and flowers. One thing she loves about living in Atlanta is finding something inspirational in her garden all year long.
