Artist Bio

Cindy Flynn is an Atlanta-based oil painter inspired by the quiet energy of the natural world. Drawing from Georgia's landscapes and the delicate rhythms of florals, her textured palette knife paintings capture fleeting moments that often go unnoticed.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from the University of Georgia, Cindy spent over two decades teaching art while creating murals and jewelry. These experiences continue to inform her layered, expressive approach to painting. Now a full-time artist, she is a member of Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society. She has had solo shows in Jacksonville, Florida and participates in shows in the Southeast.

Her work has been featured in Voyage Atlanta and on Neighborhood TV and can be found in galleries and shops around Georgia.

Artist Statement

My work is inspired by the beauty that surrounds us every day but is often overlooked. Through textured palette knife paintings, I explore moments in nature-shifting light, movement, and delicate florals-that invite viewers to pause and truly see.

I hope my paintings convey a sense of energy, calm, and appreciation for the natural world.
