Françoise Lama-Solet is a self taught artist living in Johns Creek, GA. Born in Paris and growing up in the suburbs, she discovered her passion for painting and sewing at a very young age.
After moving to the US in 2000, she turned her sewing skills into a successful fashion business specializing in children’s clothing. In 2012, she expanded into women’s wearable art, designing and creating hand-printed, hand-painted, and hand-dyed textiles.
In December 2018, Françoise reignited her passion for painting and quickly gained recognition as a contemporary impressionist artist, participating in juried art shows starting in 2019, and has earned several awards for her works. She also had her work shown in London during an international exhibition.
Françoise is an active member of the North Gwinnett Arts Association, Alpha Art Guild and the Johns Creek Art Guild.
