JULIE MANN

Julie Mann is an Atlanta native and graduate of Georgia State University, with a Bachelor of Visual Arts. After a 20-year career in Interior Design, she took a plein air oil painting workshop in 2005 and fell in love with it. Her paintings are known for dramatic light and color. Among Julie’s favorite subject matters to paint are landscapes, florals, and boats. Julie considers her art career a spiritual journey, a blessing from God to be shared with others. The beauty of nature is her biggest inspiration. She tries to capture the joy of a unique view on canvas in hopes that the viewer may also be excited about it and will reflect on memories of their own experiences.
